Poster of World Martyr Sadr Award Unveiled

Hujjat al-Islam Jahangiri, in the ceremony of unveiling the logo and poster of the World Martyr Sadr Award, considered this award as a launching pad for the establishment of other awards such as Farabi International Award, which will motivate the thinkers to pay attention to global issues and phenomena.

Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Yahya Jahangiri, the head of Islamic Culture and Communication Organization in Qom, at the beginning of the unveiling ceremony of the logo and poster of the World Martyr Sadr Award, which was held in the meeting hall of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom, pointed out that the World Martyr Sadr Award is incomparable with other awards in the field of Islamic and human sciences in Iran, he said,” The reason for this feature is that the Martyr Sadr Award seeks to join the internationalization of other awards and what is done in other scientific events in the country such as The Book of the Year, The Book of The Seminary, the Farabi International Award and the World Humanities-Islamic Science Award take place within the borders of Iran, and there was no place for a platform to bring these ideas to the international arena.”

The World Martyr Sadr Award has the role of a global headquarters for other important awards in Iran.

He continued,” According to the emphasis of the upper documents of the Culture and Communication Organization to play the role of a headquarters, this organization is looking for a cycle that will bring these selected ideas and theories to the international arena, so the Sadr Award is an award along with the rest of the awards; It is not that which fuels the multitude of awards in the field of Islamic-humanities awards in the country, rather it is the missing link that connects the produced Islamic-humanities to the international arena.”

The world has passed the positivist view of knowledge.

The head of the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization in Qom said,” The reality is that present world has moved from a positivist and empiricist perspective to the field of knowledge, and today in the West, there are serious approaches to Islamic and Shiite studies; such transformation should be used.”

According to him, the studies of his affiliated organization have shown that in addition to the presence of promotional activities throughout the world, the lack of intellectual presence in the international arena is strongly felt which is something that needs to be addressed.
